DH Miniatures
These miniatures tapestries were woven in the pixelmix technique, i.e. with only six different yarn colors, a large numbr of color shades was achieved. The original image was dissolved into single pixels, similar to a printed postcard seen under a microscope. By this, no sharp details and contours can be realised. But seen from a distance, just like a painting, such a fabric shows it`s charm and it`s almost photo-realistic appearance.
