A direct descendant of the 19th centuryDutch influence, the Boerenbont table-sets have had various versions according to the inspiration of craftsmen who have painted them by hand. They have followed the path of Dutch merchants all over the world, from Sumatra to Zanzibar via Goa.
Rechtstreeks voorspruitend uit het Hollandse platteland van de 19de eeuw hebben de Boerenbont- serviezen menige versies gekend naar gelang inspiratie en handwerk van de kunstenaar. De hollandse koopvaardij bracht de serviezen rond de hele wereld , van Sumatra tot Zanzibar langs Goa.
